Dr. Patrick R. Hannon

Dr. Hannon has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and the United States Department of Defense.

Dr. Hannon was a tenured professor at Northern Arizona University, College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Dept. of Biology. In May of 2008 he retired from the University after 28 years of service on the faculty and now devotes all his time to Hannon Biomechanics Analysis. He was awarded Faculty Emeritus status within the NAU Biology Department in May of 2009.

Dr. Hannon has addressed over 2200 cases in forensic biomechanics/functional anatomy and neurosciences injury issues and has testified over 400 times in civil and criminal cases in county, state and federal courts over the past twenty-eight years.

Dr. Hannon has co-authored the first textbook published in the United States in forensic biomechanics, entitled Forensic Biomechanics, (2006; 2008) Lawyers and Judges Publishing. Additionally he serves on the Board of Associate Editors (16 worldwide) for the international journal entitled Journal of Forensic Biomechanics. Dr. Hannon has also been recently appointed to the Board of Editors for the international professional journal entitled "Biology, Engineering and Medicine".
